Billing rule ยท Seedance 2.0

Video input minimum durations

When a Seedance 2.0 request includes a reference video, the selected output duration determines the minimum video input duration used for billing.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Short inputs are billed at the minimum.

If the input video is shorter than the minimum listed for the requested output duration, billing uses the listed minimum input duration instead.

Billable video input duration = max(round(total input duration), minimum input duration)

Minimum video input by output duration

Match the requested output duration to the minimum billable video input duration.

How the minimum is applied

Below the minimum4s output + 2s input

The minimum is 3 seconds, so the video input is billed as 3 seconds.

Above the minimum10s output + 8s input

The minimum is 7 seconds, so the longer 8-second input duration is used.

When multiple reference videos are provided, their durations are added together and rounded to the nearest whole second once before the minimum is applied. The selected Seedance 2.0 variant, resolution, output duration, and applicable rate still determine the final charge.
